Forus works with your doctor to help make prescriptions more affordable without hassle.

How it works

  1. Once your doctor writes you a prescription, Forus helps get it covered by insurance and finds ways to save.
  2. Your prescription is sent to your preferred or the required pharmacy for pick-up or delivery.
  3. Forus will text you with updates or if more information is needed, so keep an eye out for text messages.

FAQ

What is Forus and how do you help?

Tandem helps you get your prescriptions as quickly and cheaply as possible.

Tandem checks every prescription to find affordable cash prices, coupons, and financial assistance programs, so that you know you’re getting the best price.

If there’s a complex application or authorization process required to get you insurance coverage, Forus helps your doctor to take care of it for you!

Why did my doctor send my prescription to Forus?

Tandem automates the administrative work that normally falls on your doctor's shoulders, so they can focus their time on their patients and your clinical needs. We work in close partnership with them to make sure we're all on the same page!

I already have a pharmacy I want to have or use. How does that work?

You can continue to get your prescription at any pharmacy in the country! Forus is not a pharmacy - we send your prescriptions to your preferred pharmacy and help you compare other pharmacies that could have better prices.

Do I have to pay for Forus?

No, it's free for patients! We partner with doctors, pharmacies, and manufacturers to provide our service, so it's no cost to patients.

How do I sign up for Forus?

You don’t need to sign up for Tandem yourself. If your doctor sends your prescription through Tandem, you’ll receive a text message from us with next steps.

If your doctor isn’t using Tandem but you’re interested in our support services, please ask them to sign up.
