Most projects can be funded by most any of the other tax money already collected Don't be fooled into thinking that any part of our government can be limited to spending resources in any particular area. Creative financing, hidden amendments to legislation, the ability to float bonds against public assets, and a million other techniques are consistently used to direct funds to any location desired. If you think that just because they say the intentions of this tax are "stadiums & infrastructre", there is no guarentee. Likewise, any tax for another purpose can be changed at will. Just look at the 17 pages listing the legislation this bill mangles. |
